About

Vyoman
· sky in Sanskrit ·

Vyoman Aerials is an aerial photography project born in Luxembourg in April 2026. The name comes from Sanskrit — vyoman, meaning sky, or the heavens. It felt right for a project about what the sky sees.

Luxembourg is one of Europe's smallest countries and, from the air, one of its most quietly beautiful. The patchwork of fields, the medieval towns in their valleys, the rivers that have been shaping this landscape for ten thousand years — none of it is visible from the ground the way it is from above.

This project is a long-term attempt to document the Grand Duchy frame by frame: its geography, its seasons, its history. Starting with first flights over the Alzette valley near Lorentzweiler in spring 2026, and continuing toward the Moselle, the Ardennes, the city fortifications, and the twelve centuries of castles that sit in its river gorges.
